The Last week of Soccer

The last week of soccer was kind of rough for Sam. She had missed a few practices and was feeling kind of shy, but she did well while she was in. Since she didn't want to play we put Rachel in, and Rachel did great. She enjoyed it and got along well with the other kids even though she is a few years younger.

Sammy at Soccer the 1st Week

Sam was so fun to watch the first week she had soccer. She was excited to play, and listened to what the coaches had to say. She did great at using the inside of her foot and shoe laces to shoot and pass the ball, she also did great victory dances after scoaring goals.

Time to plant the garden(s)

Today was the day we finally decided to plant our garden. We have been contemplating for a month or two where we would put a garden, but being the indecisive bunch we were never coming up with a location to dig. We ended up planting half of our garden in the flower patch, the other half is still in egg cartons in the house. The girls were so excited, Elizabeth even figured out how to shovel. The garden consists of potatoes, peas, peppers, tomatoes, spinach, cucumbers, watermelon, and cantaloupe. We shall see how it turns out.
