She was so mellow about the whole thing we often wondered if she understood the magnitude of the decision she was making. During the talk about the Gift of the Holy Ghost she proved that she does 'get it'. 
The speaker was talking about the many things that the Gift of the Holy Ghost can do for you when Sam leaned over to her Dad and said, "I'm getting a lot of gifts today for my birthday, but I'm getting one special one, the Holy Ghost, and it will never go away."
We are proud of the decision she made and love to see her testimony of the Savior grow as she makes the choice to help others daily. Samantha strives to make those around her smile and feel welcome. She is a wonderful girl and we are so grateful to have her in our family. Happy Birthday Sammy!!

Oh Sammy, that is so great!!! We are so thrilled for you and your big decision. What a great example you are to your younger sisters and brother - to all of us! It looks like you had a great experience - congratulations!!!
